is created for the PEGASUS GENEALOGY GROUP.
It's purpose is to tell of it's meeting dates & times.
Also the subject matter of the meetings of other branches & groups in the Christchurch area.

The PEGASUS GROUP is not allfilliated to the New Zealand Society of Genealogists . It is a small independant group in the East of Christchurch with informal aims and low membership costs. The PEGASUS GROUP is aimed at those with limited financial resources, or desiring a low cost introduction to Genealogy & Family History Research. After a time, many of PEGASUS' members leave to become NZSG members and of other, larger, more formal NZSG Branches. However, PEGASUS does boast of a certain level of representation to & by the NZSG through its' few members who also belong to NZSG.
In this respect, PEGASUS is fullfilling its aims to be low cost and provide effective introduction to the world of Genealogy in NZ.

	All meetings are held at the ARANUI High School, Adult Common Room. Unless otherwise advised. Access is from Shortland Street. There is a small library, some Fiche & fiche reader.
